What to Expect in a Commercial Inspection

A commercial inspection is a visual review of a building's site, structure, roof, and systems, followed by a prioritized report.

By Antoine Thompson · President and Commercial Inspector

What happens before the inspection?

You share property details and your deadline, we confirm scope and price in writing, and we coordinate access with the owner, agent, or manager.

What happens on site?

We walk the site and exterior, inspect the roof where safely accessible, review visible structure, and assess mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. We photograph conditions as we go.

What do I receive?

  • An executive summary of the most important findings
  • Findings grouped by priority
  • Photos tied to each finding
  • Recommended next steps and specialist referrals

What is not included?

The inspection is visual and non-invasive. It does not replace engineers, environmental consultants, attorneys, or code officials.

Scope note: Our inspections are visual, non-invasive assessments of readily accessible systems and components. They do not replace the advice of licensed engineers, attorneys, environmental consultants, or other specialists where needed.
